Queen B’s Decree: At the end of Gametime I wasn’t really happy with Patrick so I was meh about his book. But Overtime definitely improved my opinion.
Patrick was a super manwhore but as soon as his eyes meet Ellie’s, he’s a changed man. Which is great, no one wants to read about the hero sexing up multiple other women. And Ellie was this super genius, but while she was inexperienced, she wasn’t shy or too deep in her studies that she ignored human connection.
Their chemistry together was fire. Even though they came from different backgrounds they easily fit together. Honestly they were very sweet together and Patrick was quickly smitten with her.
I did feel like the “conflict” that happened towards the end of the story felt forced and unnecessary.
Otherwise, Overtime was a great addition to the Moo U series and I heartily enjoyed this sweet and sexy romance.
