Queen B’s Decree: I think what I loved best about The Glass Slipper was Winston’s stubborn refusal to admit the truth. He was all “I’m a hard ass businessman and this is no real relationship” but it was laughable.
Their kinky relationship was hot with a lot of extra steamy scenes. But as hot as it was, it wasn’t the highlight of the story for me. Even though there is a massive age gap between them, I felt like the two communicated very well and had a great relationship. Winston is this dark and broody man and Ash is the sunshine to brighten him up.
And Winston’s siblings were great. I hope Perry gets a story of his own. The friendship he creates with Ash and how his family surrounds Ash to keep her safe was heartwarming. Which is an odd feeling to have in a dark erotic novel. Nonetheless, this is what I love about K Webster. She makes her characters dark and a bit of a bully but their love for their opposing character always wins out to find the marshmallow underneath.
The Glass Slipper was a great conclusion to the trilogy.
