Queen B’s Decree: The angst continues in Autumn Night Whiskey. The love triangle that was unresolved in Tequila Rose continues but this time we finally get Robert’s point of view.
But Magnolia was so frustrating to read about. So wishy washy and indecisive. It felt like so much of her identity was tied to which man she should choose. The only time she felt genuine was when she worried about her daughter.
I do love how Willow Winters showcased flawed characters here. Everyone had made mistakes and owned up to them and learned from them.
But I just didn’t connect with the characters. It might have been my frame of mind, but Autumn Night Whiskey wasn’t the right book for me.
