Queen B’s Decree: I adore this series. Every book has held up on it’s own.
Maelyn is kidnapped and wakes up in another world, planning to be sold on the auction block as a slave. King Zander is there, attempting to infiltrate and shut down the abductions. He hears Maelyn’s voice and immediately recognizes her as his fated mate. But Maelyn doesn’t feel the same and Zander is the “shocked Pikachu” meme.
Even after Zander tricks Mae into staying with him, he has to woo her the old-fashioned way. The relationship between the two is very sweet and adorable. It was more of a slow burn, but I appreciated that the two got to know each other and let their feelings grow before anything steamy happened.
Fun, exciting, angtsy, and magical, The Fae King’s Prize was a wonderful end to the trilogy. It was a great mix of action and romance and I couldn’t get enough of it. Jamie Schlosser has a wonderful way with words and I will read anything she publishes.
