Queen B’s Decree: One More Time was exactly what I would want and expect from Aurora Rose Reynolds: fun, sexy, easy.
Aria has just moved back to her hometown after a bad divorce and when there is an emergency with her new house, the on-call contractor turns out to be her old high school crush, Tide. And from there they fall together immediately. Tide is one of ARR’s more mellow heroes, but don’t worry. He’s still an alpha and let’s loose with plenty of babes and chin lifts like we expect.
I also loved his sweet side that we see as he interacts with his daughter. And even though he and his ex-baby mama had issues, he treated her with respect and it was nice to see their functional co-parenting situation by the end.
Was One More Time deep or innovating? No. But it was what I needed. Light, uncomplicated, fun, and sweet. I’ll read anything by Aurora Rose Reynolds and I’m already waiting for the next.
