Jakob surprised me. His past appearance in Breaking Her In made me think I wouldn’t like him as a main character, but he won me over. His back story and history showed a lot more depth than I expected. Once you got past his rude and pushy exterior was someone looking for someone else to adore. Bossy and demanding, it was still evident he was smitten with Sachelle.
Sachelle was a bit naive. She got immediately sucked into this dark world of espionage and terrorists by pure gullibility and trust. I wanted to be annoyed at Jakob for his highhandedness but Sachelle needed the help.
Super sexy and full of chemistry, Blackmailing His Bride was a great mix of suspense and mystery and erotic romance. I’ve loved every story in this series thus far and am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next.
