Queen B’s Decree: There’s not much I didn’t love about Holdout.
Jonah and Ryann end up as roommates after a bit of confusion over their names, and to Jonah’s dismay, Ryann is his hockey teammates’s little sister. Ryann has the same issue, as she has sworn to never date another of her brother’s teammates after an incident in high school.
But it’s clear that both just seem to need the other. Jonah is hyper focused on hockey and Ryann is there to help him loosen the reins. Jonah is so understanding and their chemistry is undeniable, Ryann can’t resist.
The relationship progression was both sweet and hot. Both Jonah and Ryann were well developed characters and the writing was fantastic.
The conflict was a little bit predictable but it was written well and both characters communicated amazingly.
My first from Jaqueline Snowe and I’m wondering how I missed something so amazing like this before.
