Read. Reign. Repeat.

Condemned to Love by Siobhan Davis

Queen B’s Decree: Mafia is not one of my favorite tropes. Sure, I’ve seen the Sopranos multiple times, but in my love stories? Eh. But when I saw my all time love Siobhan Davis was writing a mafia romance…well, maybe I’ll give that trope another try.

Ben is a mafia hero I can get behind. Strong and possessive alpha male, but has a hidden and tender heart. Sierra is a worthy match. She’s protective and headstrong but loving and understanding.

Condemned to Love was full of secrets and twists, just like you’d expect any Siobhan Davis story. What I usually hate about the mafia trope is how women are treated and secondly, the unfortunate realism of the sex trafficking and drug centric world where the mafia flourishes. CTL touches on this and addresses it, but it was well done and eased my hesitations.

The chemistry between Ben and Sierra is palpable. They are like magnets, unable to stay away from each other. Their coming together was irresistible and undeniable.

CTL kept me on my toes and I was hooked on Siobhan’s words.
