2020 was a…different kind of year. Staying home with no travel or social outings meant I read A LOT. It was another year of minimal rereads while trying to branch out to other genres.
I’ve also learned I am not as willing to read something I’m not engaging with or enjoying. Life is too short to read boring books, thus, the 2020 Top Reads list is a random assortment of what I enjoyed this year.
As always, feel free to go back in time and see my lists from previous years!
- The entire Guild Hunters Series by Nalini Singh – one of my few rereads this year that gives me life
- Keeper by Harloe Rae – Harloe Rae has become a must read for me
- The entire Sainthood Series by Siobhan Davis – one of those OTT bully romances that suck me in and don’t let go
- The Fae King’s Curse by Jamie Schlosser – a sweet and intriguing foray into fantasy
- The Family We Make by Dan Wingreen – was an extreme surprise that I hardcore fell for
- Hood River Zero by K Webster – honestly I loved the whole series but Penny was my numero uno
- The Torn and Bound Duet by K Webster and Nikki Ash – I love these two authors together
- The Bookworm’s Guide to Dating by Emma Hart – Kinsley was a kindred spirit
- The Not-Outcast by Tijan – brought me back to my love of her Fallen Crest series
- Until December by Aurora Rose Reynolds – I binged the whole series but December was the highlight for me
- The Hot Cakes Series by Erin Nicholas – I can’t pick just one!
I usually try to limit my list to 10…but I read so much this year, I had to turn it up to 11. Just like Spinal Tap.
