I love a dystopian, alien world where humans and aliens can find love together. The Galactic Gladiators series by Anna Hackett is satisfying, but there are flaws. The aliens/cyborgs seem ridiculously human, and the alien planet hasn’t been described very well. The books are a little formulaic, but are well written and suit a need if you’re in the mood.
- Gladiator – Harper and Raiden; sets the scene for the following novels.
- Warrior – Regan and Thorin
- Hero – Rory and Kace
- Protector – Madeline and Lore
- Champion – Blaine and Saff
- Barbarian – Winter and Nero
- Beast – Mia and Vek’ker
- Rogue – a collection of two novellas: Information Rogue features Zhim and Ryan and Desert Rogue features Neve and Corsair
- Guardian – Dana and Rillian
- Cyborg – Ever and Magnus
- Imperator – Sam and Galen
- Hunter – a collection of two novellas: Desert Hunter features Mersi and Bren and Alien Hunter features Mina and Tannon
And then the continuation in the spinoff series, Galactic Gladiators: House of Rone:
- Sentinel – Quinn and Jaxer
- Defender – Jayna and Mace
- Centurion – Sage and Acton
- Paladin – Toren and Simone
- Guard – a collection of two novellas: Dark Guard features Calla and Zaden and Cyborg Guard features Xias and Seren
- Weapons Master – Bellamy and Maxon
Now, I am pretty behind on this series, so I can’t comment on where the spinoff series falls chronologically. With that disclaimer, happy reading!
