Queen B’s Decree: At the end of Torn Apart I was shook. What happened to Ashton, Mia, Brayden, and Drew felt massive and insurmountable. As soon as Bound Together popped into my kindle, I pounced.
And oh, it worked out so beautifully. FINALLY, these characters begin to communicate, and so they begin an uneasy truce that slowly evolves to friendship and then to more. The relationship between them all is electric and nearly jumps off the pages with its intensity. I went into this duet hoping for some polyamorous quad and thank you sweet baby Jesus, that’s what we got.
The heat of this story is astounding, and I highly recommend NOT reading this in the break room at work.
Super loved Brayden’s parents and wish that everyone was as open minded as they are. They truly accepted Mia, Ashton, and Drew like they were their own children and you can feel the characters’ relief and gratitude.
A highly emotional story filled with tons of steam, Bound Together was the perfect ending to this duet.
