Queen B’s Decree: There was a whole lot of relationship confusion going on. I thought about trying to create a venn diagram of who is attracted to who, and who has kissed who…but the venn diagram was a circle so THERE YA GO.
The relationship between all four is so complicated. Ashton is gay, but Mia maybe loves him, but she’s dating Brayden, but he used to have feelings for Drew, but Drew has almost hooked up with both Mia and Ashton, and some kisses happened with nearly everyone.
I went into this book thinking it was all about Ashton, but in reality Mia was the best character. I may just be a little mad about that ending, but the three other guys failed at communication and honesty a bit in my opinion. Mia may have been confused about what she was feeling and who she had feelings for, but she was always open and honest about it.
This was the first in a duet, so it’s no surprise that Torn Apart ends in a cliffhanger. This cliffhanger felt pretty massive to me, and I am on edge wondering how this is going to resolved and “fixed.”
No hiding this from anyone, I will read anything K Webster and Nikki Ash cowrite.
