Heart Strings by Melanie Moreland

Queen B’s Decree: Heart Strings was super lovey dovey and full of sweetness.

Lottie hates her job and feels like she’s failing at getting her parents’ love and approval. The only thing that gets her through the day is the musician playing at the subway station. It’s as if he knew what she needed that first day they met, and now she clings to his music.

And that is kind of what happened. Logan was playing for fun when he saw Lottie, and immediately he wanted to ease her heartache. So he tries to go to the station daily to see her and serenade her. And they never interact beyond that until one fateful day when Lottie falls asleep while listening to Logan sing.

Both Lottie and Logan have a lot of heartache and struggles that they have survived, so they were kindred spirits. There was definitely some instalove involved, but who doesn’t love the idea of finding your soulmate; the one who completes you?

Their interactions were sexy and sweet, and full of heartfelt emotion. Heart Strings just melted my heart.
