Queen B’s Decree: Until Talon was a great addition to the Until Her/Him family. By now you all should know how much I love the instalove trope. Honestly, who wouldn’t? You skip the awfulness of dating and immediately find your one and only.
Like the rest of ARR’s Until line up, Until Talon features a Mayson progeny who one day encounters his other half, his “boom.” Talon and Mia’s initial meeting was a bit of a whirlwind (pun intended) but their relationship progressed at a steady pace. Talon particularly was a great character. Many of the other Mayson boys can be overprotective annoying alphas, and while Talon sure was possessive and protective, he still treated Mia like an equal.
The suspense and essential “bad guy plot” wasn’t as ridiculous as some of the other books. It was still a little out there, but Talon and Mia were merely innocent victims so it felt more realistic to me.
Until Talon was a quick and fun read to scratch that instalove/boom itch.
