Queen B’s Decree: The Determined Hero features Oz and his Quinn and a whole lot of instalove. And honestly it was a bit refreshing. Quinn was the first human to wake up out of cryosleep calmly. She woke up listening to Oz and immediately felt at home.
Our storyline moved very fast. At the end of The Rogue Captain, we learn that humans are coming back to the prison to take it back, so Oz is on a time crunch to create a weapon to save our Morts. So The Determined Hero moved at a supersonic pace.
The heat was minimal here, but I adored the sweetness of their relationship.
Ending with a cliffhanger, you’ll be anxiously awaiting the return of these Morts!
