Easy to Fall by Willow Winters

Queen B’s Decree: I feel a little let down by Easy to Fall. Like I’ve waited through all of these books and I don’t feel satisfied. I feel like I’ve been riding this crazy train and I still don’t know who these characters are. Why are Seth and Laura in love? The overarching plot tends to overshadow them.

Tempted to Kiss left us on a doozy of a cliffhanger (in typical Willow Winters style, to be fair) and that cliffhanger included a trope I kind of hate with the passion of a thousand suns. So I knew Easy to Fall would have its work cut out to win me over.

Sadly, it didn’t win over my trope-hating heart. Full of angst and extra emotional, Easy to Fall was a decent end to Seth and Laura’s story, yet I wanted more. As I finished I just kept thinking “where’s the rest? Where’s the ending I was wanting?”

But what Willow Winters does best is hook me. Her next anti-hero looks to be one of her best, and I can’t resist the little teaser of an ending she leaves us with in Easy to Fall. She did it again…I’ll be back for more.
