Queen B’s Decree: I wasn’t 100% on board with Seth and Laura after Hard to Love. But Desperate to Touch helped convince me.
Seth was my favorite character here. You can see how much he is struggling with his feelings for Laura. He’s trying to be unaffected…but it’s easy to see through his act. The chemistry between them is turned up a notch or two, featuring a mixture of lust, desperation, and anger.
More secrets are revealed as the story unfolds, bringing forth some shocking revelations. The mystery continues on, as the reader is left not knowing what to think or believe. In fact, even as we learn more truths, I feel there is even more left to be unveiled.
Desperate to Touch ends in typical Willow Winters fashion with a hell of a cliffhanger. Full of complex plot intricacies, and superbly written emotions, Desperate to Touch was a great continuation of the series.
