Queen B’s Decree: Jersey Six was such an interesting premise.
Homeless woman meets homeless burn victim with amnesia who has vague memories of who caused the death of her foster parents (and her future dreams)
Sign me up for that madness. And what madness it was.
Jersey Six (our homeless woman) was such a dichotomy of innocent naivete and brutal apathy. She was a hard character for me to like. Her life hasn’t been roses and it shows.
Jersey and Ian’s relationship had so much push and pull. Their entire story is so intense, so messy at times. The secrets unraveling in Jersey Six were unexpected. The need to know the ending was real with me.
Overall, a gritty and entrancing read.
