Read. Reign. Repeat.

The Girl by K. Larsen

Queen B’s Decree: The Tutor was such an interesting book to me, I knew I had to have Lotte’s story.

The Girl is an emotional story. Lotte survived her years with Holden, but has yet to put the past behind her; yet to exorcise her demons. Trudging through high school, unable to connect with others, she meets Dallas. Dallas has his own traumatic past.

They were like two stars colliding; gravity bringing them together. For Lotte, Dallas gives her the strength to actually live. And for Dallas, Lotte is his light in the darkness.

The Girl doesn’t shy away from dark topics, discussing mental health and traumatic events in their past.

K. Larsen has a beautiful way with words. I can’t remember the last book that brought forth so many emotions from me: laughter, adoration, tears. Do not pass this one up.
