Queen B’s Decree: I had been worried about this series. Thankfully, Gluttony got us back on track.
God, AKA Gluttony, was a surprising character. He was so much more than a spoiled rich boy. We get to see his true self, the intricacies he hides behind his prideful facade.
Zemira is a wonder as well. Strong and compassionate yet vulnerable.
The overall storyline progressed nicely, although I felt the focus was on God and his Zemira. And this is 100% needed. We needed another story with some depth while keeping true to the world of the Elite. We got a few more answers with some new information slowly trickling in.
Can’t wait to see how Rush and Sloth go. That cliffhanger is so much, I need more!
