Queen B’s Decree: Erin Nicholas writes characterizations so well. I feel so connected to these characters, including all the crazy Landry family members.
The premise to this story is really kind of sweet. Tori and Josh meet one night during Mardi Gras. Instant connection between the two. Only problem is Tori lives multiple states away. Wary of starting a long distance thing, the plan is to meet up again next Mardi Gras on Bourbon Street if they are still thinking of the other.
Isn’t that the sweetest? Oh, my heart!
Well this book exists so obviously they meet up again, although Tori is in New Orleans for a dual purpose – her best friend’s wedding. Her male best friend’s wedding.
Full of sexual chemistry, hilarious antics, witty banter, and a little bit of angst, My Best Friend’s Mardi Gras Wedding is a sweet and satisfying read. My only complaint is sadly Tori – she was a little too wishy washy for me at times, but regardless she was a great Heroine.
