Queen B’s Decree: I got off on the wrong foot with Zoey immediately in The Benefits of Bad Decisions. Living up to the title, she definitely made some decisions that I would consider bad judgment. But she grew on me. I came to see her reasons and her motives and I started to understand her a little more.
Brody, on the other hand, wasn’t quite the same. I adored him from the beginning. The chemistry between the two was obvious, and I loved how Brody wasn’t afraid to go after what he wanted (Zoey, duh!).
But then the big reveal happens. And much angst ensued.
I really felt like Zoey handled it maturely, but Brody then backtracked and essentially started spiraling. I understand it was a BIG DEAL, but his actions showed less growth than I had hoped for and I started to judge him a little.
A roller coaster of emotions, The Benefits of Bad Decisions kept me interested and I had a hard time putting it down (who needs sleep anyway?).
