Queen B’s Decree: I am not a “second chance” romance favorite, but I love Kylie Scott. Plus an age gap? I can totally dig it. And I sort of did.
Until I didn’t.
Adele was near perfect as a character for me. Strong, sticks to her guns, addresses her emotions freely, funny monologue, etc. Pete just wasn’t as great of a character as her. I was let down by him. His turnaround to happily ever after just wasn’t believable for me.
Still enjoyable and I look forward to more from Kylie Scott!
