Read. Reign. Repeat.

Forgiving Keven by Siobhan Davis

Queen B’s Decree: If you’ve been following my jibberish along for a while, you’ve probably picked up that the “second chance romance” trope is not my favorite.  I just hate the thought of all that wasted time due to some sort of misunderstanding.

In the case of Forgiving Keven, I think the time apart for Cheryl and Keven was needed.  Time to grow and mature; to realize what truly matters.

Forgiving Keven is a good blend of thrills and suspense, heart wrenching emotions, and sexual chemistry.  Keven is a technical genius who has been recruited by the FBI, and he only agrees once he realizes Cheryl is in trouble.  He integrates himself back into her life – both to protect her and win her back.  The plot is intense and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.  Siobhan Davis always turns me into an addict with her words and this was no different.

My only criticism is a personal one.  I’m all for love and happy endings and all, but Keven and Cheryl were just a bit too sappy for me.  I know that’s a ridiculous criticism, right?  Too much love for a love story?

Not my favorite of the Kennedy Brothers, but definitely a great addition to the series.
