Queen B’s Decree: First off…this book was 100% not what I expected. The blurb was vague in the way that intrigues you. I thought:
Oh it has something to do with monarchy and treason. I bet it’s a Princess trying to take back her kingdom in some fantasy world.
Nope.
Instead it was a world of political intrigue and war. I never expected to get so sucked into a story that starts in Afghanistan…but there it is. After my initial confusion dissipated (how did I pick up a non-romance??), I was fully drawn into the story and couldn’t stop reading. A well fleshed story and looking forward to the next in the series.
