Queen B’s Decree: When We Kiss is a sweet little story. I love the trope of “bad girl/straight-laced guy,” and Tia Louise did it well. Great interactions between our Hero and Heroine, Chad and Tabby respectively. Chad is our classic ex-military, law enforcement officer, sweet little do-gooder. And Tabby is our “bad girl,” who really isn’t that bad at all, just different from the small-minded biddies in their town.
This was a sweet read, although it seemed to lack substance. Regardless, it was a nice read for a rainy afternoon.
