Queen B’s Decree: I started Finding Kyler last night before bed. Here’s kind of how it went down:
Me: I’m only going to read for about 15 minutes
One hour later….
Me: I only need six hours of sleep before work tomorrow…
FREAKING OBSESSED. That’s me. This series is like a soap opera mixed with crack. And that crack…is Wealth Adult. I don’t know what it is about damaged, spoiled, rich kids but they are a highly addictive substance to me.
So this Kyler-based trilogy is about Kyler (well duh) and Faye, his cousin. And that’s where this curveball comes from: the taboo. I thought the author handled it well, without it feeling over the top. These books go through a range of events, which is how it feels like a soap opera. No amnesia, though! Just your good, old-fashioned infidelity and murder.
Bottom line here: I’m rambling but it’s wonderful. Give it a try and see if you get sucked in like me!
