Queen B’s Decree: Queen J and I recently took a field trip. It turns out we live only mere hours away from half of the writing duo Alexa Riley. And since I stalk her facebook I definitely noticed the event she co-hosted with a local artist (who was totally awesome, by the way).
So here’s how it went down:
Queen B: So hey, there’s this paint night thing about three hours away with Alexa Riley. Prince Consort B says he’ll drive with me but he doesn’t want go. Will you go with me pretty please?
Queen J: Sign me up, best friend that ever lived.
Or something like that. Paraphrasing and stuff.
And so we journeyed on. We were both pretty anxious about it. What if the author isn’t all we hoped for? What if it’s awkward and uncomfortable? Well no worries, dear readers, it was effing awesome. And this might be the wine talking…but book friends were made.

And even better? I GOT THIS ARC! And it was amazing. Classic AR, with instalove, hot steamy scenes, pure gushy romance. It reinforced my love of AR and ensured I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next!
