Queen B’s Decree: Have you ever read the Vampires in America series? If not, you should seriously reconsider what you’ve been doing with your life thus far. Sometimes with series, story lines become redundant, repetitive, and boring. Not so with ViA. Each book moves the background story line along while still focusing on the main couple featured.
Lucifer features (you guessed it) Lucifer and Eleanor. I don’t want to spoil the plot line if you haven’t read the rest in the series, but be assured it stands up to all the others. Lucifer and Eleanor had been separated for some time, and “second chance romances” are one of the worst things ever. Yet it actually works for me; the separation became less of an issue for me.
I would not recommend skipping any of the previous in the series. While each book stands on its own, it would be a bit perplexing not understanding the major story line.
