Queen B’s Decree: Spoiler alert – I have pet peeves and turn offs in plot lines. One of my major turn offs occurred in Love in Lingerie. It didn’t stop me from finishing the book, but it definitely affected my enjoyment.
Trey and Kate (our hero and heroine) are coworkers/friends the entire story line, essentially. It is important to note that they are not together during the “incident.” But even though they are not technically together, it is obvious they should be. Both want each other but aren’t together because of “reasons.”
And this is why Trey’s behavior feels like such a betrayal. They were clearly meant for each other, and yet he has sexy times with another woman.
Ugh.
Just no.
Book ruined.
