Queen B’s Decree: This was my first Winter Renshaw book, even though I have a lot of her books on my Amazon wish list. Initially, I was disappointed to find two “bonus” stories as well. I’m not a fan of extra stories included. I have no real basis for my feelings, I just have them. Now, onto the story line. I love a good “asshole redeems himself and turns into better person” story. Hudson definitely is an asshole and while he redeems himself, it just wasn’t believable for me. Hudson and Mari’s love just didn’t do it for me. It felt like it came out of nowhere, especially considering the way they treated each other at the beginning.
Nonetheless, great writing and I look forward to trying more from Winter Renshaw.
