Another series that fits within our Wealth Adult genre…Fallen Crest High by Tijan.
Fallen Crest High: Fallen Crest High is essentially about some spoiled and angsty rich kids who have mommy/daddy issues and have lots of sex. Samantha’s mother has moved them in with her new boyfriend, who happens to be the wealthy father of Logan and Mason Kade. The world, meet Mason Kade, my future husband. Mason, meet the world. Initially, Sam has an antagonistic relationship with both Logan and Mason. Sam eventually earns their respect and friendship (and a little something more from Mason…if you’re picking up what I’m throwing down) and they become the threesome fearsome. While Sam and Mason are together by the end of the book, it feels unfinished, but segue ways neatly to the sequel, Fallen Crest Family.
Fallen Crest Family: Feels like High: Part Two, as not much happens plot wise here. Sam’s mother, already crazy, goes off the rails here and Sam’s legendary strength goes missing. FCF primarily deals with Sam and her inability to deal with her mother, and the blackmail attempts to keep Mason and Sam apart.
Fallen Crest Public: Finally something new happens here! Sam has transferred to Fallen Crest Public, the high school that both Logan and Mason attend. Apparently high school mean girls are particularly vicious here, as most of the book follows Sam rebuffing their verbal and physical attacks. More Mason sex ensues – side note: do all high school age boys have skills and the stamina Mason does? Or is this something called fiction? Intense ending that shows how deep Mason’s loyalty runs.
Fallen Fourth Down: I pretend this book doesn’t exist.
Fallen Crest University: Sam, Logan, and Mason are now all back together. And Nate seems to have gotten over the bug in his ass. This book recaptured some of the magic that we first felt in FCH. More twists and turns leading to an unexpected revelation near the end.
Logan Kade: This novella focuses on Logan Kade, naturally. Logan, you disappointed me. Perhaps I had such high expectations for you. Perhaps you’re just a manwhoring asshole. I expected more maturity and growth from Logan by this point, but the minute he and his Heroine, Taylor, have any difficulty? He’s back to his slutty ways in what feels like minutes.
Fallen Crest Home: It’s been years but I finally continued with this series. I had forgotten how crazy the world of Fallen Crest is: rivalries, carnies, secrets, and lots of sex. Mason Kade is still my favorite book boyfriend, but maybe I waited too long to finish this series. I’m starting to feel too old for Fallen Crest shenanigans.
Fallen Crest Forever: I did it. Fallen Crest is completed in my brain. FCF was similar to FCH, where the craziness continues, but we finally get a resolution to most of the problems in Sam and Mason’s life. They are finally becoming and acting like adults, and we get a glimpse of their future, where they have lots of sex and are ridiculously happy and Mason is still my favorite book boyfriend. It’s an end of an era!
