Queen J and I recently binge read the entire Rosemary Beach series by Abbi Glines. All 13 books…and including the little novella. We decided that instead of reviewing each book separately, we’d review each couple. Part One includes Blaire and Rush, the stars of the first four books.
Side note – in discussing our craving for books similar to this series, Queen J and I were trying to find a term to quickly categorize them. We came up with “Wealth Adult,” expanding upon the New Adult genre…books filled with rich, spoiled kids.
Plot Snippet: wealthy son of a rock star and his farm girl step-sister have an angsty time.
Thoughts/comments/reactions while reading Blaire and Rush’s love story:
- Being a golf cart girl pays better than my college educated marketing career
- Do rich kids not spend money on condoms?
- There’s a 67% chance that any new person will be your half sibling
- Rush Finlay is a reformed bad boy that I can’t resist
- I want to ride on a private jet sometime during my lifetime
- Isn’t reading the Hero’s point of view the best thing ever?
